The Queen Anne and Magnolia farmers markets will share their bounty when they open this week.

The independently run Queen Anne Farmers Market (qafma.net) will open Thursday, June 4, with a slate of activities from 3 to 7:30 p.m.

The market, which will stake out its space at West Crockett Street and Queen Anne Avenue North, will include more than 50 vendors, including eight wineries, as well as seven rotating food trucks.

Opening-day festivities include the Radish Races at 4 p.m. and live music by Right as Rain at 5 p.m.

The Queen Anne market is open Thursdays from 3 to 7:30 p.m. through Oct. 15.

The Magnolia Farmers Market (seattlefarmersmarkets.org/markets/magnolia), operated by the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance, will open its “doors” on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on West McGraw Street between 32nd and 33rd avenues West.

Seven new farms have joined the market this season, as well as Lowercase Brewery and Mondello’s Pizza Oven.

Opening-day events had yet to be announced at press time.

The Magnolia market will open Saturdays, through Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
