Northwest CrossFit (NWCF) will open its fourth location at the Interbay Urban Center (2001 15th Ave. W., Suite C), with the first day of business of its 5,000-square-foot gym slated for Monday, April 27.

NWCF Interbay Urban will use its level system — which identifies how much weight members should use and how much intensity they should experience — a step further with a new joint partnership with Kinetic Sports Rehab. Kinetic will help identify weaknesses members may have, like a weak knees, and direct them to a specialized, lighter program called NWCF CrossLite, said NWCF owner Jake Platt in a press release.

Kinetic will also offer therapy and rehabilitation, as needed. Its offices are expected to open in the new gym later this spring, shortly after the grand opening.

NWCF also has gyms in Green Lake, Ballard and Bellevue.
