Caring for someone with memory loss but you live at a distance from them? Distance complicates caregiving. Do you need information and support? Alzheimer’s Association family caregiver support groups provide a consistent and caring place for people to learn, share and gain emotional support from others who are also on a unique journey of providing care to a person with memory loss. Meetings for caregivers who live at a distance from a family member with memory loss or dementia are held the 2nd Saturday of the month, from 10:00 to 11:30, at Swedish Medical Center, Ballard Campus, 1st Floor Conference Room B/C, 5300 Tallman Ave. NW, Seattle WA, 98107. Hosted by Seattle Milk Fun volunteers, The Modern Tightwad in Magnolia Rummage Sale celebrates all who are fantastically frugal! Join us on Saturday, August 18 for a day of cheapskate rivalry in Seattle Milk Fund's new neighborhood, Magnolia! Want to donate items? Mark your calendar to drop them off Thursday, August 16 or Friday, August 17 at the Magnolia United Church of Christ at 3555 W McGraw St, Seattle, WA 98199. We aim to provide nearly-new and gently-used household items for our sale attendees to peruse. Receipts for your donation will be available on donation drop-off days.
