Caring for someone with memory loss long-distance? Do you need information and support? Alzheimer’s Association long-distance family caregiver support groups provide a consistent and caring place for people to learn, share and gain emotional support from others who are also on a unique journey of providing care to a person with memory loss from a long distance. Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of the month, from 6:00-7:30 pm, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 111 NE 80th St., Seattle, WA 98115. Caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s or other dementias may feel that they grieve twice—once when their loved one is no longer the person they knew, and then again when death occurs. Do you need support in an understanding and caring environment? Alzheimer’s Association bereavement groups provide a consistent and caring place for people to explore their unique journey, emotions and immediate needs after the loss of a loved one with dementia or memory loss.
